Tara Dickinson, Teacher
Tara is a fine artist, teacher, and creative facilitator who believes that art-making is a deeply personal and enriching experience. With a background in fine arts and years of experience teaching a wide range of art labs to both kids and adults, Tara creates welcoming, hands-on environments where students can explore new techniques and connect with their creativity.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and combines her formal education with life experience to support meaningful and joyful learning. Tara loves sharing practical tools that help students feel comfortable in the creative process while building confidence and curiosity in their work.
Originally from Florida, Tara moved to Santa Rosa in 2022 and quickly found her place in the local arts community. She served as General Manager of Artaluma from June 2023 to June 2024 and continues to teach a variety of classes there.
